  • UPCOMING EVENTS

ArtFusion19464 is hard at work on their next educational show. Scheduled to run from September 20, to November 9, (Veterans Day), the show will focus on the personal recollections of veterans of the Vietnam War.
ArtFusion is looking for letters and photos from the era to include in the gallery displays. these mementos will also be used in educational field trips for local schools. They are also looking for veterans willing to share their stories and there is a need for old military uniforms from that era to be used in an exciting fiber arts project that will become part of "When We Were Solders".

For more informatin about how you can participate in this event contact Julie Tonnessen at 610-326-2506. ArtFusion 19464 is located at 254 E. High St. in downtown Pottstown.

  • MERCHANT OF THE MONTH – VIDEORAY LLC

When VideoRay decided to relocate to Pottstown, many of us were excited over the prospect of a new downtown business coming to town. Under the leadership of Scott Bentley, President and principal owner of VideoRay, this innovative firm recognized a number of advantages Pottstown had to offer. They have become a valued addition to Pottstown in the short time they have been here. Last month, representatives from VideoRay met with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Southeast Pennsylvania to discuss hosting a "Beyond School Walls" program in the coming school year. "Beyond School Walls" is a mentoring program that introduces children to jobs at an early age, giving them an opportunity to learn about the corporate world first-hand. Children are hosted at the corporate office and meet with employee volunteer mentors two to four times per month during the school day for about an hour. Through it's efforts to partner with our Borough and School district, VideoRay is to be commended for its investment in our Proud Pottstown community and we are pleased to recognize them as this month's Merchant of the Month.
