Pottsgrove Manor invites you to tap into history during Tavern Night on September 16th from 4:00-7:00 PM.
Uncork the past as Pottsgrove Manor hosts Tavern Night on Saturday, September 16th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Sample beer, wine, and spirits from local vendors and discover how alcohol and American drinking culture has changed since the 18th century. Satisfy your thirst for history with drinks from Sly Fox Brewing Company, Manatawny Still Works, and Ridgeway Winery. Stop by the 18th Century reconstructed kitchen and smell what our cooks will be up to as they make authentic colonial recipes. However, modern food will also be provided by Yellow Springs Catering Company. Play historic tavern and parlor games with period interpreters and try your hand at some colonial lawn games as well. Explore the history of Pottsgrove Manor’s later transformation into the Mill Park Hotel inside the museum’s exhibit room. Visitors will also be able to shop at the manor’s museum store for colonial games, books, and unique gifts such as historic drink recipes!
